Terms of Service

By accessing or using RoPerms (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

RoPerms is a third-party dashboard that helps Roblox creators manage staff permissions, moderation, in-game modcalls, activity tracking, chatlogs and group ranking for their experiences. It connects to your Roblox account via Roblox OAuth2 and to your in-game servers via a Luau SDK you install yourself.

RoPerms is an independent product. It is not created, sponsored, endorsed by or affiliated with Roblox Corporation. “Roblox” is a trademark of Roblox Corporation; use of it here is descriptive only.

You sign in with your Roblox account through Roblox OAuth2. You are responsible for the security of that Roblox account. We do not store your Roblox password. If you believe your access has been misused, contact us immediately at support@roperms.app .

An organization (“Org”) in RoPerms represents your Roblox community. As an Org Admin or staff member, you are responsible for:

• Only adding Roblox places (PlaceIds) you own or are authorised to administer.
• The moderation actions (bans, kicks, warnings, rank changes, notes) you and your department members take. RoPerms records these in audit logs but does not review them.
• Ensuring your in-game use of the SDK complies with Roblox’s Terms of Use, Community Standards and Open Cloud terms.
• Obtaining any consent required from players in your experiences before forwarding in-game data (chat lines, sessions, country codes) to RoPerms via the SDK.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, defame or unlawfully surveil players.
• Attempt to access another Org’s data, reverse-engineer the Service, or circumvent its security controls.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or any Roblox policy.
• Send the SDK API key to any party outside your trusted Roblox game servers.

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

If you link a Roblox account for group ranking, you grant RoPerms permission to call the Roblox Open Cloud Groups API on your behalf using the OAuth tokens issued by Roblox, for the sole purpose of promoting and demoting players inside your configured group. You may revoke this link at any time in Org Settings → Ranking.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any data forwarded by the SDK will be preserved indefinitely. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoPerms and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid (if any) for the Service in the prior twelve months, or £50, whichever is greater.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or for abuse, with or without notice. Org Admins may request deletion of their Org from Settings → Danger Zone; data is removed shortly after a Super Admin approves the request.

We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
